Our Offerings
01
Weekly Classes
Our weekly homeschool co-op classes offer our families unique opportunities to learn together. Our main focus is enrichment and exposure so your child has a well-rounded experience.
02
Community
We pride ourselves in the beauty of our uniquely diverse community. We are a Christian-led group of primarily Black and Brown families but open to all. Meaningful relationships help us so we don’t have to “go it alone”.
03
Field Trips
We love to get outside of our homes’ four walls to experience the real world. We seek to further enhance our learning through field trips, fun outings, organic meet ups, and moms-only brunches.
04
Career Exploration
It is important to know what else lies beyond homeschooling. Career exploration is valuable so we can see what can be possible. We offer special “Career Day” experiences to make this happen by collaborating with Black and Brown professional excelling in their fields.
05
Black & Brown Excellence
The difficulty of feeling a sense of belonging within the mostly majority culture homeschool community at-large has been a well documented experience of many Black and Brown homeschoolers. Many of the families who have found our group echo the same sentiments. Because of this, Able to Teach strives to celebrate the Black and Brown experience. It is our hope that here, you will know you belong! We’ve lost count of how many times we’ve heard “this group feels like a family” from our members!
06
Ongoing Support
We will work with you to create a personalized plan to help you achieve your homeschooling goals. This is made possible through additional homeschool services and resources such as consultations, workshops, and other online components offered under the direction of Able to Teach’s Senior Leadership and Director, Mrs. Courtney Dunlap.

“Exactly what we’ve been looking for!”
Able to Teach is exactly what we’ve been looking for! As a trans-racial adoptive family, it’s been important for our daughter to make friends with kids who look like her. Able to Teach has provided us just that!
