HAPPY THANKSGIVING + BLACK FRIDAY & CYBER MONDAY DEALS!

What a difference a year can make!

This time last year, who would’ve imagined that we would all be smack dab in the middle of a worldwide pandemic?!

I pray you all are healthy and well and have been able to find some semblance of normalcy in the abnormal times in which we are surviving thriving.

We wrapped up a pretty scaled down Thanksgiving dinner this year with my immediate family, mother-in-love and a couple we’ve been friends with for YEARS who have now become family.

I made my signature baked Mac, cornbread (with real corn and honey…YUM!) and apple pies with caramel, pecan toppings. My hubby held everything else down and we enjoyed much needed laughter and relaxation!

Though we are very careful to acknowledge the First Peoples who’s land we occupy, we also understand the daily need to give thanks. This is why today we were able to join around the table and give God thanks for His hand on our lives.

I’ve love to know if and/or how any of you celebrated. Feel free to share a pic!

I took a few candid shots of us today as well. As you can see, the hubs lifted his 13 year running ban of any Christmas decorating before the Thanksgiving leftovers are gone! lol So I was TOO excited to get us decorating and in the holiday season all week long!

Sooooo, Happy Merry Thanksmas from our family to yours!

I’m also writing to update you on my soon coming coloring book!! I am in the final stages y’all! My formatter is steady at work on it. I’ll be submitting some edits this weekend! We are almost there.

Yahooooo!!!!

In fact, I gave the final approval to my illustrator on the cover just yesterday. Here’s an exclusive look! Let me know what you think in the comments.

I’m also going to be running a number of Black Friday + Cyber Monday deals for my original book all weekend and into Monday. Stay tuned for these updates on my Facebook page here: https://www.facebook.com/celebrateblackkidsbooks. Be sure to check back daily from today until Monday (11/27-11/29)!

To start things off, here’s a 25% discount code you can apply to your purchase of my book. With this purchase, you’ll also receive a free coloring page featuring the brave Rumble Hunters crew!

Be sure to use Code: BUYBLACK25 when you get your book from my website: www.courtneybdunlap.com!

Again, thank you all for your love and support up to this point! I am beyond grateful for your love and encouragement!

I wish you all a happy and healthy holiday!

Blessings,

Courtney
