MY OFFICIALLY OFFICIAL BIRTHDAY BOOK BASH!!!

It’s my birthdayyyyyyyyy!!!!

I’m so grateful to see 37 years on this here green earth!

Yesterday, you may (or may not) have received a premature message with this post in it…Whoops! lol

I was a bit click happy with my mouse and accidentally published it WAY too soon. Lol But I’m officially ready to share everything now!

All I can do is thank the Lord for His continued blessings and love towards me. I know it can sound cliche, but I honestly would NOT know where I’d be without Jesus in my life…one thing is for sure, is that I’d be a HOT mess without Him!

I’ll be brief because I have a full day ahead of me.

Each year, I like to buy myself a gift. I’ve done this for the last six years or so. The reason is that early on in my marriage, we were SUPER, SUPER broke!! lololol

To be able to go and get clothes that we actually needed was a luxury at best! We’ve known the challenge of frugality as well as simply not having because we were married young, started our family young, and then decided to have me stay home full time when our firstborn was a baby. The sacrifice of this is one that I don’t look lightly upon. It’s also one that many people don’t have the choice to do, so I don’t take it for granted.

Some years ago, as things began to somewhat turn around for us, I decided I wanted to do something nice for myself no matter how small.

It began with maybe a dress, cute earrings, or even a yummy dessert treat. It really didn’t matter. I just knew I wanted to do something for myself in a way that I hadn’t been able to years prior. It’s been fun to treat myself.

This year, I decided to go big or go home!

The gift I decided to give myself was to publish my next book!!!

Okay, if you know anything about me, you know that when I get something into my head that I want to do, it’s truly impossible to get it out of my brain! This madness at times causes me such stress but it’s also equally thrilling and fulfilling! Curtis just gives me the side-eye most times because he knows my crazy pretty well! LOL

That’s why I’m cheering and screaming extra hard today because my crazy plan and birthday gift for myself is officially a THING!

Forgiveness: A Coloring Journal Supporting Your Journey to Freedom is NOW available!

This project was born out of my own journey of forgiveness over the years. I’ve cried many tears, worked through hurt and frustration, as well as experienced the peace, love, and forgiveness that only Christ can give to those who are totally surrendered to Him.

This past spring, I was actually going through another round of relational challenges with people who know how to hurt me. I was feeling pretty discouraged and weary. That’s when the idea for this book came to me. I’ve known for some time that forgiveness truly is a journey. The age-old adage to “forgive and forget” is one of the worst lies our world has sold us! I’ve learned through my own heartache that forgiveness is a journey. It is one full of ups and downs, there are wins, and there are days when you simply need to try again.

I wrote this coloring journal with the heart for everyone to experience the freedom that forgiveness can bring. We need only begin! This journal is full of reflective journal prompts and beautiful coloring pages to take you along the journey.

I’d so appreciate it if you supported me by sharing the news about this new coloring journal with everyone you know!

My hope and prayer are that this book will be life-changing for those seeking something different. That’s especially true if they’ve found themselves stuck in a rut of pain and heartache in which forgiveness seems to continuously escape them.

You can purchase my book here:

It’s set to be made available on Amazon any day now! Don’t worry, I’ll be sure to let you know once it is, I’m really hoping to hit the charts with my ranking when it’s released on Amazon! 🙂

Here are some of the beautiful interior pages I was telling you about.

Aren’t they awesome? I literally designed this book myself! I can’t believe how much I’ve learned by doing this. 🙂

You can also share the cover image and any information you’d like about my book with all your networks!

Thank you so much for your love along this journey called life!

Lastly, I’ll be going live on Instagram TODAY at 11am EST for a Birthday Book Bash! You’re all invited. Some good friends of mine will be joining me to celebrate. There will be giveaways so you don’t want to miss this! Here’s how you can get to my IG: www.instagram.com/storiesforuspress.

See ya soon!

Blessings,

Courtney
